Successful Go-Live in only six months
Dalli-Werke (dalli group) in Stolberg produce drugstore articles - from sun milk to cleaning products. The family business is now run by a family member in the fifth generation.
No access to the seller's SAP system, a long-term supply contract, a cut-over without interrupting the supply chain - this project was not just a challenge.
For the carve-in, GAMBIT used an alternative, multi-stage migration procedure since a partly automated transformation was not possible. Can be called quite clever - we call it a matter of experience.
Grade 1 for performance, a go-live to the day, continuity of the supply chain beyond the cut-over date Or in other words: a successful project and a satisfied customer.
Dalli-Werke (dalli group) is a leading manufacturer of beauty and household care products. In order to further strengthen its position as a market leader, the company purchased a production plant in Romania. The persons responsible commissioned GAMBIT Consulting to completely integrate this plant into the company’s own IT infrastructure in just six months – exactly to the day.
"You have successfully completed a pioneering project that describes a new chapter in our corporate history."
The integration of the purchased plant into the IT system landscape of the dalli plants encompassed several aspects at once: among other things, complete SAP integration with simultaneous harmonisation of data, the integration of production subsystems and the development of the complete facility infrastructure.
The particular challenge of the deal, however, was a complex and long-term supply contract with the previous owner of the plant - this contract included an uninterrupted supply relationship characterised by stringent quality and delivery figures.

The project also represented a particular challenge because direct access to the seller’s SAP system was not possible for reasons of competitiveness. A partly automated transformation using SAP Landscape Transformation or SAP Object Transformation was therefore impossible.
The carve-in into the new SAP system environment was therefore carried out using an alternative multi-stage migration process. The GAMBIT experts considered modified processes with the new external logistics service provider as well as the integration of process-critical non-SAP peripheral systems.

Reference customer presentation "dalli-Werke"
In close cooperation with the customer’s project management, the GAMBIT team succeeded in meeting the go-live deadline. In addition, the SAP experts kept the load on the customer’s IT as low as possible. Last but not least, they made sure that the target key performance indicators for production and delivery performance were not just met, but were exceeded – right from day one.
The Managing Director of Dalli-Werke, Ingo Steinbach, was accordingly enthusiastic about the performance of GAMBIT's SAP consultants and said: "They have made history at Dalli.’ The Chairman of the Dalli Group Advisory Board, Hans-Reinhard Abels, also had words of praise: ‘You have successfully completed a pioneering project that marks a new chapter in our company's history."
