"Can you help us with an event tomorrow?" With this question from a friend working at GAMBIT, a whole life changed in 2011. When an employee at GAMBIT dropped out due to illness, Beatrix stood in for her in the kitchen from one day to the next. As a trained hotel manageress and former owner of a breakfast café and restaurant, Beatrix had a lot of experience in the hospitality of guests - and therefore completed the task to the highest satisfaction of GAMBIT. Thus, the spontaneous help quickly turned into more: first a permanent job in the kitchen, then the management of a growing kitchen team, finally also the work at the reception and the facility management. "To have started at GAMBIT at that time - that was one of the best decisions of my life", Beatrix says today. "And I really got to know some employers." In general, the mother of two has already experienced and seen a lot of the world: As a flight attendant, Beatrix used to work for a luxury charter airline worldwide for several years. "I don't have to go to South Africa, Iraq or the USA anymore, but I still enjoy travelling and being active. But today, a long hike in the Wahner Heide is enough for me. But that as often as possible - and in any weather!"
BEATRIX' WORKING AREAS
Together with a colleague, Beatrix organises the reception and is thus the first point of contact for all guests and visitors to the Junkersing - whether customers, applicants or suppliers.
Simple answer: Only the best! When shopping for lunch at GAMBIT, Beatrix attaches great importance to quality: GAMBIT purchases the ingredients, among others, from a health food store and regional butchers.
