"I always want to learn and develop," says René, and anyone who looks at the long list of his qualifications and certifications will notice that desire and reality do not diverge here, but go hand in hand. Because whether Support or Solution Management, whether SAP HANA DB or S/4HANA - René is interested in many things and is a real techie. The IT specialist has already been working for various companies in the IT and SAP industry for the past 20 years - since the end of 2018 he is now part of the GAMBIT team as Senior Executive Consultant. "What I appreciate about GAMBIT is above all the self-determined work and the flat hierarchies", says René. "Thus, I am very flexible, I can implement projects quickly and target-oriented and, in addition, I can combine my job and my family life well". Born in Berlin, René is the father of a 5-year-old son and tries to use every free minute with his wife and child. "Of course, sport has to be on top of it, especially if you sit a lot at your desk," says René. "That's why I go running at least twice a week. The SAP expert ended his soccer career at the age of 21. "I played a lot. But beyond the district league, nothing was possible anyway," he adds with a smile.
RENÉS FIELDS OF ACTIVITY
René has worked for DEVK time and again over the last ten years. Most recently he was involved in the introduction of SAP S/4HANA and migrated the Solution Manager systems to the new HANA DB.
René supports the maintenance customers of GAMBIT competently and actively in the second level support - especially in the topics HANA database, SAP S/4HANA and Solution Manager.
Finding the best way to SAP S/4HANA for each customer is no easy task. Weighing up goals, working out a roadmap, presenting suitable solutions - René is particularly attracted to the complexity of such projects.
At HUK in Coburg, the conversion to SAP S/4HANA is almost complete. René not only supports the project as technical consultant and executor of the conversion. He is also technical sub-project manager.
